I know you are thinking that there is something wrong here... and yes, you are right - I really shouldn't have been wearing white to go birding in the Neotropics. And maybe Kenn was just a little overdressed. What? You still don't believe me? Fine!
So this is the real photo, taken earlier today at the Massachusetts Audubon's Birders Meeting, before the shin-dig got started. I had a chance to chat with Kenn a bit and he really is a genuinely nice guy (which was no surprise), and what a great speaker!

I have seen some of those older photos - I especially love the photos of thes guys trekking through swamps in slacks and ties, etc. Different times indeed!
