Attempt at something new...

Usually when I get out on the weekends, I manage to take quite a few photos. None of them are ever "publication" quality, but I like to think that I get a couple each week that are interesting enough for my little corner of the blogosphere. Unfortunately, I am not posting as often as I like, and maybe some that I plan to use in posts never get to see the light of day (unless people are visiting my pBase site with some regularity, but I don't expect that.)

SO, for the month of June I am going to try to post (at least) one photo a day for the entire month. I am already doing something like this on some days, when I participate in the Bird Photography Weekly and Wordless Wednesday posts, so I only have to cover 5 more days a week, right?

As I am typing this, it seems to me like I am going to have a hard time coming up with 29 more photos that people will find interesting... and not redundant... and doesn't drive away readers...
...

Yikes - what the heck am I getting myself into?!?

Well, here goes - wish me luck.

If you are having trouble getting enough bird photos for a month, you could branch out into other taxa, habitat shots, etc.

Great idea! I've often lamented I'm simply not able to post many shots I think are interesting (I won't say good, just interesting). Maybe I'll follow suit.

Looking forward to your shots.

Thanks for the support guys.

@John I think that I will definitely be doing photos of more than just birds. I've been encountering quite a few dragonflies lately that I'm trying my hand at photographics as well.

@Mike Yeah - I'm making no promises about my pics being "good" - hopefully they'll at least be interesting to somebody other than me! I hope you do something similar - I always enjoy your pics!

I had a few misspellings so I started again...

I read many blogs that have photos that aren't great quality..I myself post photos that underwhelm ,especially when capturing a bird I want to show that i have seen and its the only photo I have....

It doesn't bother me that the photos are not the best ...

one blog I can think of is Kims...the curious birder..

Hi kim if you are reading this...

She has some beautiful photos...but also posts ones that are distant blurs just to show that she has seen the bird...and to document.. I find it refreshing that someone would post these photos!

I am not a photographer..and many of us aren't...

So show us your less than worthy...I will not think any less of you..tee hee
You blog offers more that photos..and to me that is what its all about!

Great idea and a great challenge, Christopher! I always love seeing your shots, as much because you have such different birds than I'm seeing down here in Texas as for the quality of the shots (which in my opinion is usually pretty darn good, no matter what you say!). I look forward to keeping up with your daily pics, and just might have to try to match your challenge.
