Bird Photography Weekly #59

Yellow-rumped Warbler (Dendroica coronata)

Another attempt at photographing some of our more common birds. The Yellow-rumped Warbler is one of (if not the) most common warblers here in eastern Massachusetts - and especially now in the autumn, when most others are moving though and south towards warmer climates. This weekend these guys seemed to be everywhere, and even the most pitiful attempt at pishing drew a crowd of a dozen or more at most thickets.

Love those butter butts! They may be common to us but not to everyone. I love their friendly curious manner as they go about their business. As you say, very pishable ;-)
