Wow, nice find Chris. Do you get to see the Purple Sandpiper every winter up there?

That second to last shot, with the bird standing in whatever that red stuff is, really contrasts nicely bringing out the color in the wings.

I've never seen purple sand pipers in person. They sure do remind me of Doves though.
